This site is operated by Coach Poppy, a coaching practice.

The best way to reach us is through the contact page.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form (“Say hi!”). Your name, your email address, what brings you here, and anything you choose to tell us.
• Phoropterize With Me inquiry. Your name, your email address, what you'd like to phoropterize, and anything else you'd like us to know.
• A Gift for You (The Emotional Clock®). Your first name and email address, so we can send your free gift and the emails that come with it.
• Athena membership. Your name and email address, and the details needed to manage your monthly membership. Payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.

Information collected automatically

• Basic analytics: pages visited, how long, roughly where in the world, and what kind of device.
• Whether our emails were opened or clicked, if you are subscribed.

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to your note or inquiry.
• To send your free Emotional Clock® gift and the emails you signed up for.
• To provide one-on-one coaching and the Athena membership, including sending Zoom details to members.
• To process membership payments.
• To understand which pages are useful, so the site can be improved.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or pass it to advertisers.

4. Who we share it with

Only with the services needed to run this practice: our website and email platform, our payment processor, and the video platform (Zoom) used for coaching and Athena gatherings. Each holds only what it needs to do its job.

Athena gatherings are live and are not recorded. The Zoom link is sent only to members.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect someone's safety.

5. How long we keep it

• Notes and inquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.
• Client and member records: as long as professional obligations require.
• Financial records: seven years, as required by tax law.

6. Your rights

Wherever you are, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete it
• Stop sending you email (every message has an unsubscribe link)
• Provide a copy in a portable format

Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you these rights and the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you comparable rights, including the right not to be treated differently for exercising them.

7. Cookies

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may work less well if you do.

8. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the systems above is protected. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This site and these services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be shared with our email list.
